Naïve Camelid VHH Antibody Phage Display Library

AlpalifeBio Naïve Camelid VHH Antibody Phage Display Libraries (naïve libraries) are constructed from the variable regions of non-immunized camelid heavy-chain antibodies. Genes of VHH antibody fragments are cloned into phage display vector and fused with modified genelll. TG1 E.coli cells are transformed by phage display plasmids and infected by helper phage M13k07 to generate a phage display library. AlpalifeBio has constructed a total of 19 naïve libraries, each consisting of over 108 repertoires from PBMCs of a mixture of 80ml camelid blood (10ml blood from each alpaca or llama). In contrast to immune libraries, one single naïve library can be used for the screening of antibodies against a wide variety of antigens. Each library can be used separately or combined with other libraries for subsequent panning.
